President and Founder

Gretchen NeelsThree words describe Gretchen's work with individuals: candor, insight and success. She is refreshingly honest and will always tell her clients the truth to help them develop. Gretchen's experience as an executive recruiter gives her significant insight into how people can improve the way they present themselves in business situations. As a successful recruiter, coach and speaker for over 10 years, Gretchen has helped hundreds of people build stronger professional relationships that result in more business and broader networks.

Interpersonal skills and manners are essential to success in today's business environment. Winning your next client, or job, depends on your ability to connect personally with others. An accomplished and sought-after coach, Gretchen enjoys developing these skills in both young and seasoned executives.

Clients include Cisco Systems, Inc., Clear Channel, and the Defense Acquisition University, as well as a number of professional services firms. In every case, Gretchen delivers information, advice and strategies to enhance the softer side of one's career with the compelling combination of humor and honesty.

Gretchen has coached new executives, junior partners and CEOs, is a workplace expert featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes.com and FoxBusiness. As a content provider for WestLegalEd Center's "Core Skills Thursday" webcasts, she has reached thousands in the legal community eager for professional development. Gretchen is a member of the American Red Cross's Tiffany Circle and enjoys working pro bono with students from Cristo Rey schools around the country.

Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and studied abroad at Universita per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy.
